Designed for demonstrating the use of condition monitoring equipment.
Constructed primarily from hard anodised 6082 T6 grade aluminium, which is known for its excellent strength and durability.
Lateral and rotational misalignment of the motor and coupling can be achieved through the adjustment of the integrated fine pitch drive screws, and clamp nuts allow the base plate to be secured in the desired position, to ensure stability and accuracy during use. The Rig features 7 zinc plated mild steel accelerometer mounting studs and high quality SKF 6202 bearings, along with a bespoke shaft and flexible coupling, for optimal performance. Located on the shaft are 2 machined flywheels with tapped holes in their faces, for the mounting of weights, and gradient markers to identify their locations. The Brook Compton motor is powered via an inverter for variable speed control, and the base of the Rig is mounted on stainless steel springs and rubber pads, for isolation.
A removable polycarbonate machine guard, with magnetic interlock, is included to protect users from moving parts.
Can be supplied for bench mounting or with a portable trolley, at request, to suit user requirements.
